Jonathan Obika was on the score-sheet for the second game running in Oxford United's 3-1 win over Milton Keynes Dons in the EFL League One.

The attacker scored his side's third of the afternoon in the 59th minute to hand United their second win on the bounce.

Nathan Delfouneso opened the scoring after 54 minutes in Blackpool's 2-1 win at Rochdale.
 
A league lower, John Akinde was on target for Barnet in their 2-1 loss to Swindon Town. The striker struck in the 20th minute to pull his side level and became the first Nigerian player to score in 2018 in the process.

In the National League, ex-Super Eagles invitee  Femi Ilesanmi got in among the goals for Dover Atletic in their 2-2 draw with Maidstone United in the English National League, the defender opened the scoring in the 27th minute.

Oladapo Afolayan notched a second-half brace in Solihull Moors's 3-1 win over Maidenhead United; Moses Emmanuel had opened the scoring for the visitors seven minutes into the second half.

In the National League South, Kudus Oyenuga (Chemsford), Femi Akinwande (Concord Rangers) and Gold Omotayo (Whitehawk) were on target for their respective teams.
