Published: January 02, 2018
Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has denied reports that in January the London club will make bids for Chelsea defender David Luiz and Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar.
''I don’t want to speak about any names, but these reports are wrong,'' Wenger told the national press in England, including football.london.
The French manager also confirmed that the Gunners have not been officially approached by rival clubs for Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere.
''No, we have not been contacted by anyone,'' said Wenger.
The three players will walk away from the Emirates Stadium as free agents at the end of the 2017-2018 season if their contracts are not extended.
