Watford Striker Okaka Tipped To Replace Nigeria U23 Ace At TorinoNigeria U23 international Sadiq Umar has not convinced the leadership of Torino in the first half of the season and might be sent back to parent club Roma before the close of the winter transfer market as per reports.

Tuttomercatoweb.com writes on its website that the sporting director of Torino Gianluca Petrachi is monitoring the situation of Sassuolo striker Diego Falcinelli.

If
The Maroons are not able to land their primary target, they will shift focus to Watford striker Stefano Okaka, Ilija Nestorovski  (Palermo) and Giampaolo Pazzini (Hellas Verona).

For close to three months, Okaka was left out of Watford's matchday squads after falling out of favour with manager Marco Silva but was handed game time during the festive games.

Torino are scouring the market in search of a new striker to act as backup for Andrea Belotti.

Sadiq has made only three appearances in total for Torino, and has failed to register his name on the score-sheet.
