Norwich Transfer Target Ebuehi Watched FA Cup Clash Vs Chelsea As Benfica Join Race
Published: January 07, 2018
Norwich City are confident of landing the signature of Nigeria international Tyronne Ebuehi before the close of the winter transfer market.
According to Press Association, the ADO Den Haag right-back was among the 23,598 spectators that watched the Canaries take on Premier League champions Chelsea in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday evening.
Ebuehi's contract expires in the next five months and he's free to talk to talk to other clubs without the permission of ADO Den Haag and this appears to be the case as the Dutch club have claimed they have not been directly contacted by the Championship outfit.
The 22-year-old has been offered a new deal by ADO Den Haag but talks have led to nothing so far.
Respected Portuguese outlet O Jogo writes on its electronic edition that Benfica have joined the race for Ebuehi after he was recommended by their scouting team.
The defender joined ADO Den Haag in 2013 from amateur side EDO.
