Published: January 08, 2018
Manchester United have baulked at France
national-teamer Antoine Griezmann's wage demands before he joins the
club in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The Sun is reporting that the Atletico Madrid superstar will demand a staggering £400,000-a-week (approximately N10 billion every year in Nigerian currency) to snub Barcelona and join Manchester United.
The Red Devils attempted to sign Griezmann last summer but were unsuccessful, before they captured Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
Manchester United have offered the striker £290,000-a-week which is below his requirements.
The 100 million euros rated Antoine Griezmann is also on the wishlist of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old was named best player of the 2016 European Championship held in his homeland.
