Chelsea Central Defender Training With Dutch Club PEC Zwolle
Published: January 15, 2018
Chelsea's Swedish youngster Ali Suljic could leave the Premier League champions before the close of the January
transfer window.
Apeldoorn-based Dutch regional newspaper De Stentor is reporting that Suljic is training with Eredivisie outfit PEC Zwolle with a view to a transfer.
The 20-year-old joined Chelsea in 2014 after impressing on trial from IF Motala and has yet to debut for the first team due to an injury that curtailed his progress.
Last summer, he penned a contract extension tying him to Chelsea until the end of the 2017-2018 season.
Though Ali Suljic is eligible to play for Bosnia at international level, he is a Swedish youth-teamer and helped the Scandinavians record a 3-3 draw against eventual champions Nigeria at the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup.
If the defender is offered a deal, he will join the versatile Nigerian wing-back Kingsley Ehizibue at PEC Zwolle.
