Injured Moses Simon To Spend At Least One Month On The Sidelines
Published: January 16, 2018
Super Eagles winger Moses Simon faces four to six weeks on the sidelines after suffering an injury to the ligaments of the right ankle
The Gent star got injured during a friendly game between his club and Nürnberg exactly a week ago in Spain.
Simon's injury is a big blow to manager Yves Vanderhaeghe who won't be able to count on the services of the winger for the upcoming Belgian First Division A match against Lokeren.
In addition, the Super Eagle will miss games against Antwerp, Club Brugge, AS Eupen and Sint-Truiden while he is doubtful to face Mechelen and Waasland-Beveren.
This season, the former AS Trencin ace has played 22 games in all competitions, scoring five goals.
Samuel Kalu was red-carded against Anderlecht in Gent's last game before the winter break and is ineligible to face Lokeren on Sunday.
