Roma Star Tells Chelsea What They Must Do To Sign Him
Published: January 27, 2018
Chelsea have not given up in their pursuit of Roma striker Edin Dzeko, according to reports.
According to Sky Sports, the Premier League champions are willing to pay Roma £26m for the Bosnia international.
Dzeko has demanded from Chelsea a contract until June 30, 2021 with a salary of £ 90,000 (about N4.5 million ) a week.
The former Manchester City star is also unhappy with the fact that he would have limited playing opportunities if he joins Chelsea, with Spaniard Alvaro Morata expected to be ahead of him in the pecking order.
Earlier this week it was reported that the Blues had agreed with Roma on the transfer of Dzeko and his teammate, Emerson for €50 million, but the Sporting Director of the Italian club dismissed the reports, saying the amount offered was not sufficient.
