Reports in England are strongly linking the 2017 FIFA Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to the Premier League.

The Sun claims the Real Madrid star is unhappy with life in Spain after being taken to court over allegations he has failed to pay tax of £13.1 million, and is mulling over joining Chelsea in the summer.

Chelsea are prepared to part company with Eden Hazard in the summer on the proviso that Ronaldo is included in the deal taking the Belgian to Santiago Bernabéu .

Manchester United are unlikely to brink back the Portuguese to Old Trafford after they signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in the winter transfer market and handed him the number seven jersey he had worn before joining Real Madrid.
