The Eagles Make Move For Everton Wonderkid Ademola Lookman
Published: April 01, 2018
England U21 international of Nigerian descent Ademola Lookman could return to his native London in the summer transfer window, as per reports.
The online edition of The Sun UK has reported that The Eagles have put Everton outcast Ademola Lookman top of their list of signings if Ivory Coast star Wilfried Zaha departs the club at the end of the season.
The winger has put himself in the shop window following a string of fine performances for Bundesliga outfit Red Bull Leipzig and the Young Lions.
The England U20 World Cup-winning player turned down the opportunity to remain in the United Kingdom before making an under the radar transfer to the German club in January.
Ademola Lookman is predominantly a winger who can play a variety of attacking positions and has drawn comparisons with Zaha.
In addition to playing for Everton, he has represented Charlton Athletic and started off his career at local club Waterloo.
The Nigeria Football Federation are on Lookman's case but his future lies with England for now.
