Ex-Nigeria U20 Captain Ajagun Scores Eighth Goal Of The Season For Kortrijk

Ex-Nigeria U20 skipper Abdul Ajagun was on target for Kortrijk as they claimed a 2-0 win over Lierse in the Belgian First Division A playoffs on Saturday.
Jeremy Perbet opened the scoring for the visitors at the Herman Vanderpoortenstadion in the 33rd minute, bundling home the ball from a corner.
Twelve minutes into the second half, Ajagun made it 2-0 when he capitalized on a loose ball after a shot was blocked by goalkeeper Rakovsky.
The number eight has been directly involved in 13 goals ( 8 goals, 5 assists) from 34 appearances in all competitions this season.
As a result of the win, Kortrijk are second in Group A of the UEFA Europa League playoffs with six points, one less than Peter Olayinka's Zulte-Waregem, and their Nigerian star is the club's joint-leading scorer in the playoffs.
Up next, Glen De Boeck's side welcome OH Leuven to Guldensporenstadion on Tuesday.
