Official: Strongest Nigerian Player Signs New One-Year Deal With Wycombe Wanderers

Adebayo Akinfenwa has been rewarded with a new one-year deal by EFL League Two club Wycombe Wanderers, the Chairboys have informed via their official webpage.
It means the prolific striker will remain at Adams Park until at least the end of the 2018-2019 campaign.
Regarded as Nigeria's strongest player, Akinfenwa has tallied an impressive 17 goals in 40 appearances in the League Two this season, while providing 14 assists.
Last season, the 35-year-old scored 18 goals from 52 games in all competitions for Wycombe Wanderers, whom he joined as a free agent in the summer of 2016.
The Beast has been named in the League Two Team of the Season and will discover if he picked up the Player of the Year accolade at the 2018 EFL Awards which will be held at the London Hilton tonight.
Akinfenwa lists Leyton Orient, Swansea City, Millwall, Northampton Town, Gillingham and AFC Wimbledon amongst his former clubs.
