Official: Nigeria Target Returns To Liverpool After Loan Spell
Published: May 12, 2018Nigeria Football Federation target Ovie Ejaria will not be re-engaged by Sunderland following the conclusion of his loan spell with the demoted Championship club.
Liverpool have published on their official website photos of their penultimate training session ahead of their final home game of the season against Brighton & Hove and Ejaria was spotted training with the first team.
However, the former Golden Eaglets invitee will definitely not feature in tomorrow's game at Anfield as he is technically a player of Sunderland until June 2018.
Ejaria racked up 11 appearances in the Championship, logging 790 minutes, whilst at the Black Cats despite struggling with an injury.
If he impresses during pre-season, this will be key in the decision of manager Jürgen Klopp to bring him back into the first team fold instead of another loan spell.
The England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder has eight first team appearances under his belt and made his full debut for England U21s two months ago.
