Nigeria To Set Up In A 4-1-2-1-2 Formation Against Czech Republic
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr has decided that the Super Eagles should play in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation for the pre-World Cup friendly against Czech Republic this afternoon.

However, the German does not want to be caught off-guard just as was the case in Saturday's loss to England; Gareth Southgate surprised everyone by playing five at the back, so Nigeria's formation this afternoon will be flexible.

If the Czechs decide to lineup with an unorthodox system, Rohr will switch to three at the back and that change will see John Ogu, William Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun taking up the central defensive positions, while Abdullahi Shehu and Brian Idowu will be deployed as wing-backs, joining Ndidi, Iwobi and Mikel in midfield.

In the preferred 4-1-2-1-2 formation Rohr plans to start with, Ogu is the six, Iwobi and Ndidi are the midfielders while Obi Mikel will play as the attacking midfielder behind the two strikers Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo.

Nigeria started the friendly against England in a 4-2-3-1 formation before switching to a 3-5-2 in the second half.

Nigeria's Tactical Formation Vs Czech Republic (4-1-2-1-2) : Uzoho; Shehu, Troost-Ekong, Balogun, Idowu; Ogu; Ndidi, Iwobi; Mikel; Moses, Ighalo
