Published: July 04, 2018
As exclusively reported by allnigeriasoccer.com in February, England youth international of Nigerian descent Jordan Aina has confirmed that he has inked a new deal with Premier League powerhouse Chelsea ahead of the new season.
The defender took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to announce that he has signed a fresh contract with Chelsea.
Though Jordan Aina has not disclosed the type of deal plus the duration, it is confirmed that he is one of Chelsea's new academy scholars signed on for the 2018-2019 campaign.
''Happy to sign my first with @chelseafc very happy and proud, dream come true ⚽️❤️🔵,'' wrote Jordan Aina on social media.
It is all but confirmed that Jordan Aina will make his competitive debut for Chelsea U18s in the forthcoming season as he has been promoted to the team after signing a new contract.
His sibling, Ola Aina, was named in Nigeria's provisional 25-man squad for the 2018 World Cup but did not make the final cut.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that highly-rated Nigerian midfielder Faustino Anjorin has also penned a scholarship deal with Chelsea and an official announcement is expected in the coming days.
