It is all but confirmed that FK Ventspils's Nigerian striker Adeleke Akinyemi will depart his Latvian club before the close of the transfer window with as many as fifteen clubs interested in his signature.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Turkish club Trabzonspor, Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade, Belgian team Waasland-Beveren and Dukla Prague of the Czech Republic have opened talks with Akinyemi's bonafide representative over a transfer, apart from several Ligue 1 teams that watched him score against Bordeaux.
The Scandinavian clubs in the market to sign the 20-goal striker are : IK Start (Norway), Helsingborgs IF (Sweden) and Brondby (Denmark).
Maccabi Netanya have been fighting tooth and nail to sign Akinyemi, who is valued in the region of 1.5 million euros by FK Ventspils.
The 19-year-old joined FK Ventspils in March 2017 and is contracted to the club until the summer of 2020.
Last Thursday, Akinyemi met with the coach of the Super Eagles Rohr, who advised the teenager to remain focused and informed him that Nigerians are monitoring his performance in Europe.
