Will Ademola Lookman Join RB Leipzig? Everton Boss Has An Update
Published: August 23, 2018
If Everton boss, Marco Silva has his way, he will block Ademola Lookman from joining RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.
The Nigerian winger continues to be linked with a return to Germany after impressing for RB Leipzig in the second half of last season, with 5 goals (4 assists) in 11 matches.
Though Lookman has made up his mind to leave the Toffees, the powers that be are not eager to do business with their German counterparts as they see him as a future star in the Premier League team.
Speaking at Thursday's press conference, Silva told reporters : ''I repeat, when you talk about business it's not my role. I can advise every time and I will do that for sure.
"Of course I understand if some clubs are interested in him because he's a good player, he's got a lot of talent in my opinion.
"But I told you last week, I told you two weeks ago, for me he's the present and the future of the club. We have to try and convince him to go this way as well."

Lookman has appeared in 24 first-team games for Everton, scoring three goals, since transferring to the club from Charlton Athletic in January 2017.
