Middlesbrough Boss Confirms He's In The Market For A Winger Amid Link With Ojo
Published: August 26, 2018Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis has confirmed that he is in the market for a winger before the close of the English loan window on August 31.
Liverpool starlet Sheyi Ojo has been linked with possible moves to Aston Villa and Middlesbrough after falling out of favour at The Reds, with the England U20 World Cup winning winger yet to appear for the club in competitive matches so far this season.
With Anwar El Ghazi and Yannick Bolasie joining Villa on a season-long loan from Lille and Everton respectively last week, it is all but confirmed that manager Steve Bruce has cooled his interest in Ojo.
Speaking after Boro's 1-0 win over West Brom on Friday, Pulis told reporters :''If we can’t add wide players next week then we will push on.
''We will try our best to get the players in and they will be better than what we have got, players have a bit between their teeth."
Since transferring to Liverpool in 2011 from MK Dons, Ojo has had loan stints at Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham.
