Liverpool Loanee Ejaria Opens Account For Rangers In Six-Goal Thriller
Published: August 26, 2018Rangers conceded a late goal to draw 3-3 with Motherwell in a Scottish Premiership clash at Fir Park on Sunday afternoon, with Liverpool loanee Ovie Ejaria among the scorers in the six-goal thriller.
The former Golden Eaglets invitee's effort two minutes before half-time was his first goal in his eleventh game in all competitions for the Glasgow giants.
Ejaria's goal came following a swift counter attack that saw him receive a pass from Barisic before firing the ball in from just outside the box.
A Kyle Lafferty brace cancelled out goals from Danny Johnson and Carl McHugh , then Ejaria made it 3-2 before Hartley broke the hearts of Rangers fans when he scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Nigeria U23 international Umar Sadiq has yet to make his full debut for Rangers in all tournaments and was a non-playing substitute today.
Up next for Ejaria and Sadiq is a crucial Europa League playoff match in Russia against Sylvester Igboun's Ufa on Thursday.
