Ex-Nigeria U15 Forward Dennis Opens Season Account In Style Against Anderlecht
Published: August 26, 2018
Young Nigerian striker, Dennis Bonaventure opened his goal account for Club Brugge on Sunday afternoon with a magnificent effort in a 2-1 league win against title rivals, Anderlecht.
The former Nigeria U15 international rattled in a right footed screamer from the centre of the box to the top right corner of Thomas Didillon's goal after just three minutes of play after picking a pass from Hans Vanaken.
Bonaventure, 20, has made four appearances for the club this term against Antwerp, Mouscron, Kortrijk and Anderlecht in the division.
While he was on from start to finish for the game, Vanaken scored to make sure of three points for the hosts, rendering Knowledge Musona's goal for Anderlecht consolatory.
Following his exploits, Club Brugge are top of the Belgian topflight with 13 points after winning four of their opening five games and drawing one.
