Official: Manchester United Midfielder Completes Move To MLS Club
Published: September 10, 2018United States starlet Will Vint has ended his association with English Premier League club Manchester United and penned a deal with Major League Soccer club Atlanta United.
The official website of Major League Soccer is reporting that Will Vint has joined Atlanta United’s academy after his move to Manchester United failed to reach fruition due to visa issues.
The midfielder chose to join the Red Devils last summer after trialing with the Old Trafford outfit, Everton and Fulham.
Vint would have represented United's U18 squad this season after training with the squad in Austria during pre-season.
The 16-year-old had attracted interest from Atlanta United, Sporting Kansas City and Philadelphia Union following his departure from Manchester United.
The former Manchester United U16 captain has trained with the United States U16 and U18 national teams.
