Victor Moses Among Four Players Blocking The Next Eden Hazard From First Team Breakthrough
Published: September 20, 2018
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday evening ahead of Chelsea's Europa League opener against PAOK, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri refused to confirm whether the hugely talented England U17 World Cup winning winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi, will play against the Greek opponents.
Dubbed the new Eden Hazard and one of the stars of Chelsea's famed academy set-up , Hudson-Odoi has made five appearances for the first team in 2018 since his debut against Newcastle United.
Sarri has hinted that the 17-year-old is behind Eden Hazard, Victor Moses, Pedro and Willian in his pecking order of wingers.
''For Odoi I don't know. In this position I am also in the last match played Pedro and Hazard but I have also players like Willian, Moses and so I don't know tomorrow if it is time for Odoi or somebody else,'' Sarri told reporters.
"In the future there will be sure it is possible for him but Ampadu, Odoi, Loftus they are the future of the squad but now we are 28 so I don't know if tomorrow is the right time for Odoi."

Victor Moses has not figured for Chelsea in their last four matches in the Premier League and was a second half substitute against Huddersfield and Manchester City in the Community Shield.
