Super Eagles Star Ahmed Musa Is N0.97M Richer After Winning Saudi PL Player Of The Week
Super Eagles assistant captain Ahmed Musa has been awarded the Player of the Week in the Saudi Professional League for matchday three.

The former Leicester City star had been nominated for the award along with Bafétimbi Gomis (Al-Hilal), Omar Al Somah (Al Ahli), Al-Muwallad Al-Harbi (Ittihad) and Jehad Al-Hussain (Taawon), and scooped the award at the end of voting.

Musa netted his first ever hat-trick for a foreign club as Al-Nassr thrashed Al Qadisiyah 3-0 in his first game after returning from international duty on September 19.

It is worth mentioning that the winners of the weekly accolade received 10,000 riyals each (equivalent of N966,600.00 in Nigerian currency), while the Player of the Month will be paid 50,000 riyals each.

Musa's coach, Uruguayan José Daniel Carreño, won the Coach of the Week award and Al-Ahli fans were chosen as the best supporters in the third round, after 41,315 spectators watched their 2-0 win vs Al Hazm at the King Abdullah Sports City (Jeddah).

Ahmed Musa has started and gone the distance in all the four matches contested by Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League in the new season.
