Red-Hot Nigerian-Brazilian Striker Dominic Tallies Seventh Goal From Seven Matches
In-form Nigerian-Brazilian striker Dominic Uzoukwu found the net as Beijing BG claimed a 2-1 win against Meizhou Meixian Techand in the latest round of matches in the Chinese League One.

Uzoukwu's 45th minute strike at the Beijing Olympic Sports Centre Stadium on Sunday put Beijing BG 2-0 up and it was his seventh goal from seven matches in the division.

A corner kick taken from the right was not properly cleared by the Meizhou Meixian Techand defense, leaving the unmarked striker to tap in from close range after he was fed by a teammate.

Apart from the 2-0 win vs Shijiazhuang Ever Bright on September 19, the number 31 has found the net in six of his last seven games for the capital outfit.

With 15 goals in 24 matches, Uzoukwu is the third highest scoring African in the Chinese League One, behind leading scorer John Mary (Cameroon) and Dino Ndlovu who have netted 22 and 18 goals respectively for Meizhou Hakka and Greentown.

Beijing BG sit in sixth place with 37 points after this weekend's matches.
