UCL Wrap: Danjuma Scores; Idowu & Henry Suffer Loss; Amos Misses Messi Show; Awaziem Bench; Solanke Not In 18

Round up of the Nigerian stars involved in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, October 3.
At the RZD Arena in Moscow, Super Eagles defender Brian Idowu started at left-back as Lokomotiv Moscow were beaten 1-0 by Schalke 04. The number three played the full game.
In Group A, Arnaut Groeneveld Danjuma netted his first ever Champions League goal for Club Brugge in their 3-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
The Netherlands U21 was on the score-sheet in the 39th minute to bring the scoreline to 1-1.
The Spanish side made it two wins from two matches thanks to a brace from Antoine Griezmann and an injury time strike from Koke.
Whilst Danjuma was involved for ninety minutes, ex-Nigeria U15 star Emmanuel Dennis was a non-playing substitute for the Belgian champions.
At Wembley Stadium, there was no Champions League debut for Luke Amos who has joined Tottenham Hotspur's growing injury list.
Spurs lost ground on the pacesetters in Group B, Barcelona following their 4-2 loss to the Spanish champions.
Lionel Messi scored a brace and hit the post twice in the second half, Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic netted the other goals for Barcelona. Harry Kane and Erik Lamela got the goals for Spurs.
In Group C, Lorenzo Insigne struck late in the 90th minute to secure all three points for Napoli in a 1-0 win against Liverpool at Stadio San Paolo, with Dominic Solanke watching from the stands.
Over to Group D, it was a good evening for Chidozie Awaziem and his Porto teammates at the Estádio Do Dragão after a 1-0 victory over Turkish side Galatasaray.
The Super Eagles defender was an unused substitute for the second successive game in the UCL, while Henry Onyekuru fired blanks in ninety minutes of action.
Moussa Marega scored what proved to be the winner three minutes after the restart.
