Allnigerisoccer.com understands that Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo is amongst the five Super Eagles players that arrived the Akwa Ibom Airport on Tuesday afternoon, bringing the total number of players in camp to seventeen.

The CD Leganes central defender was on the same Air Peace flight as Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, Stoke City's Oghenekaro Etebo, Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru and Trabzonspor's Eddy Onazi.

The flight that brought the five players from Lagos touched down at the Akwa Ibom Airport in Uyo at 1348 hours.

Omeruo will be rooming with another player on the books of an English Premier League club in Watford's Isaac Success at the Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort throughout their stay in Uyo before they travel to Sfax on Monday, October 15.

As at the time of this report, Bryan Idowu, John Ogu, Odion Ighalo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Francis Uzoho are racing against the clock to link up with their international teammates ahead of their first training session at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The training session which starts at 1700 hours is open to the media and Super Eagles fans.
