Super Eagles Fans Will Certainly Be Shocked Over Pinnick's Latest Comments On Salisu Yusuf
Published: October 10, 2018Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick has stated that suspended Super Eagles coach, Salisu Yusuf, will return to coach the national teams after he must have served a one-year ban.
It would be recalled that the CHAN Eagles boss was banned for one-year from all football-related activities by the Nigeria
Football Federation following its consideration of a complaint as well
as the coach's defence of a video documentary in which he was seen to
accept the sum of $1,000 from an undercover reporter posing as a
players' agent.
Now, Pinnick has revealed that he will not throw the baby out with the bathwater, and stressed that the disgraced coach still has a valid contract with the NFF.
Asked by BBC Africa's Mimi Fawaz if the NFF will accept Salisu Yusuf back, Pinnick replied : ''Yes, definitely, he has a contract with us for five years I think, I will check with my legal people.
''Punishment is not meant to chase you away, it is just to reprimand you and bring you back a better person.''

Salisu Yusuf accepted a cash gift $1,000 from Tigers Player's Agency, an undercover
reporter, purportedly interested in acting on behalf of Osas
Okoro and Rabiu Ali, for their inclusion in the list of players for 2018
CHAN in Morocco.
