Official : Rotherham United Loan Out Nigerian Central Defender
Published: October 26, 2018Though a statement on their official website, EFL Championship club Rotherham United have informed that Emmanuel Onariase has joined National League side Dagenham and Redbridge on loan.
The agreement between both clubs will keep the central defender at the Daggers until January 2019.
Onariase joined Rotherham United in August 2017 but has not broken into the first team of the Millers, with only two appearances under his belt.
This season, the 22-year-old was an unused substitute in matches against Bristol City and Birmingham City and was not included in the 18 for fourteen games across all competitions.
Manny Onariase began his career at West Ham from the age of 12 until 19, and also lists Brentford and Cheltenham Town among his former employers.
He has been handed the number 33 jersey by Dagenham and Redbridge and could make his debut against Harrogate Town on Saturday.
