Round-up of the players of Nigerian descent involved in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday, November 6.
At Hotspur Way Training Centre (London), England U19 defender Timothy Eyoma played ninety minutes as a central defender for Tottenham Hotspur in their 2-0 win against PSV Eindhoven.
Eyoma has gone the distance in all the matches played by the London club in the UYL this season.
PSV midfielder Nonso Madueke made his UEFA Youth League debut against his former club after coming off the bench in the 57th minute.
Goals from Walcott and Parrott saw Spurs pick up their first three points in Group B and maintain their unbeaten start in the competition.
Goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi and defender Jubril Okedina were not selected in the 18 by manager John McDermott.
At Čukarički Stadium in Belgrade, Liverpool sealed progression from the group stages following their 2-0 win against Red Star Belgrade, with Bobby Adekanye in action for 84 minutes.
The right winger won at least five free-kicks for Liverpool during the game and Red Star left back Stajić was lucky he did not pick up a caution after fouling the Nigerian four times.
Curtis Jones gave the Reds the lead in the 69th minute before Adam Lewis scored with a stunning free-kick to make it 2-0 on 75 minutes.
