Ezenwa Ready To Give All Against South Africa If Picked Ahead Of Akpeyi, Afelokhai
Published: November 15, 2018
Ikechukwu Ezenwa has said that he's ready to give all if Gernot Rohr selects him to man the post ahead of Daniel Akpeyi and Theophilus Afelokhai against South Africa on Saturday.
Rohr has kept everyone guessing about the player that will be in between the pipes at the FNB Stadium after Elche's Francis Uzoho suffered an injury eleven days ago against Cadiz in a La Liga 2 match.
''I will keep doing my best for my beloved country because that is my job and I know the importance of the game,'' Ezenwa told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''Two times now we have not qualified for the Nations Cup so we just have to qualify. By the grace of God if I am given the opportunity to be in goal, I have to give all to my beloved country.''

The Super Eagles assembled in Asaba, the Delta State capital, for a short training camp before heading to Johannesburg later today and Ezenwa says he's impressed by the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
''Honestly speaking it is fantastic, when I came in I was surprised. I have been here last three years but I have not played on the turf, it is fantastic and I like the pitch,'' the Enyimba goalkeeper added.
Ezenwa has not started a game for the Super Eagles A team since October 2018 when he posted a shutout in a 1-0 win against Zambia in Uyo.
