Iwobi Battles Uruguay Pocket Dynamo Torreira, A German, Englishman For Arsenal POTM Award
Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has been nominated for Arsenal's Player of the Month Award for November 2018.

The Hale End Academy product has been shortlisted for the accolade alongside Uruguay World Cup star Lucas Torreira, Germany international Bernd Leno and ex-England U21 star Rob Holding.

Iwobi has been key to Arsenal preserving their unbeaten record since August, having featured in all the games played by the club this month.

The winger went the distance against Sporting CP in the Europa League, started against Wolves and Bournemouth in the Premier League, while his only appearance as a substitute came against Liverpool on November 3.

The Gunners number seventeen provided the assist for Alex Lacazette in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool and was involved in the build up to the winning goal scored by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in last weekend's clash vs Bournemouth.

As at the time of this report, Torreira led the poll with 55 percent of the votes, followed by Leno (35 percent), Holding (6 percent) and Iwobi (4 percent).
