Europa League : The Reason Birthday Boy Victor Moses Was Left Out Of Chelsea Squad Vs Vidi
Published: December 12, 2018
Victor Moses was omitted from the Chelsea squad that traveled to Hungary on Wednesday afternoon ahead of their Europa League meeting against Vidi.
Moses, who is celebrating his 28th birthday today, has been out of favour since the former Napoli coach took over the reins from Antonio Conte in July 2018.
A departure from Stamford Bridge may be in the offing as he has been linked with possible moves to Crystal Palace and Fulham in recent days.
Moses has made two appearances for the Blues in this season's Europa League after coming off the bench in the home wins against Vidi and BATE Borisov.
There was a strong hint that the former Nigeria international would not be in the traveling party as manager Maurizio Sarri excused him from the team's training session held at Cobham on Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury.
