Galatasaray Linked Striker Onuachu On Target In Friendly Against FC Astana
Published: January 30, 2019Paul Onuachu kept up an impressive record of scoring this season after finding the net for FC Midtjylland as they registered a 4-2 win over FC Astana in a friendly on Wednesday.
The lanky forward is one of the Nigerian strikers linked with a transfer to Galatasaray before the close of the transfer window, the others being Odion Ighalo and Blessing Eleke.
Onuachu closed the scoring in the 88th minute, profiting from a rebound falling into his path.
The Kazakhstan Premier League side had raced into a two-goal lead inside six minutes thanks to an own goal from Mayron George and Marin Tomasov's strike.
Nigerian winger Rilwan Hassan made it 2-2 in the 14th minute while Gustav Isaksen and Mayron George were the other scorers for the Danish team.
FC Midtjylland, who are in Dubai holding a training camp ahead of the resumption of the Super Liga, will face Chinese club Shanghai SIPG in their next friendly on Saturday.
