A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Wednesday, January 30th.
Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.
At the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth made light work of Premier League giants, Chelsea, recording a huge 4-0 win to put a dent on their top four chances.
Joshua King (2), David Brooks and Charlie Daniels got the goals for the hosts.
Jordon Ibe was introduced in place of Brooks after 68 minutes with the winger setting up his side's last goal of the cracker.
His teammate, Dominic Solanke meanwhile was a non-playing substitute for the Cherries.
At Anfield, Liverpool and Leicester City played out a 1-1 draw, with Sadio Mane and Harry Maguire scoring for their sides.
Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was named in Claude Puel's starting XI for his 24rd league game this season and he was in action for the entire duration.
His compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho was brought on for Jamie Vardy in the 90th minute.
And in the other game at Tottenham's makeshift home ground, Wembley, the Londoners came from behind to beat Watford 2-1.
Craig Cathcart scored the opening goal for the Hornets before Son Heung-Min and Fernando Llorente struck two late goals to seal the victory.
Striker Isaac Success replaced Gerard Deulofeu for Watford in the 61st minute, playing his 23rd league game of the season in the process.
