Talented Nigerian Striker Mulling Over New Manchester United Contract
Highly-rated Nigerian teenager Mipo Odubeko is mulling over a new deal to stay at Manchester United beyond the end of the 2018-2019 season, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.

The 16-year-old has been offered a two-year scholarship deal by the Red Devils and will make a decision on whether to continue his career with the Old Trafford outfit in the coming weeks.

United are expected to publicly announce their new first-year scholars in July 2019 and the teenagers will be promoted to the U18 team for the 2019-2020 season.

Odubeko has made a big impression on the Manchester United youth team coaches and was rewarded with a competitive debut for the U18s in an U18 Premier League fixture against Blackburn Rovers on February 23.

A physical striker in the mould of Yakubu Aiyegbeni, he also logged the full ninety minutes as United U18s were held to a 2-2 draw by West Brom on Saturday.

Born in the Republic of Ireland, Odubeko cut his footballing teeth at St Joseph's Boys and has been on the books of Manchester United since 2016.
