Red-Hot Iwobi Tipped To Shine Against Manchester United
Published: March 09, 2019
Super Eagles and Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi is set to feature for the Gunners when they play host to Manchester United on Sunday.
The 22-year-old was Arsenal's liveliest outfield player throughout the time he spent on the pitch in their 3-1 defeat to Rennes last night.
It took just three minutes to open the scoreline against the Ligue 1 side in the first leg of the Europa League round of sixteen tie.
Iwobi has massively improved since Emery stepped into the Emirates Stadium, and he's been one of the Spaniard's trusted players this season.
Barring an injury, Iwobi would be recording his 27th Premier League appearance vs Manchester United and he will be aiming to add to his three League goals on Sunday.
Sunday's game is a must-win encounter for Arsenal as maximum points will see them move up to the fourth position 60 points, two points above United.
Meanwhile, It remains unknown if Unai Emery will start Mesut Ozil in the much-anticipated clash.
