Tomori Becomes First Loan Player To Win Derby County's Player of the Season
Fikayo Tomori has been named as Derby County's Player of the Season at the End of the Season Awards night at Pride Park on Tuesday, April 23.

The Chelsea loanee has made 49 appearances in all competitions since his transfer to The Rams in August 2018, scoring two goals, providing an assist and logging 4,350 minutes.

This season, Tomori has played a vital role for Derby County who are in contention for the playoffs, with three games remaining in the Championship.

The supporters had voted Tomori their Player of the Year before he was handed the main award yesterday.

The central defender is the first loan player to win the Player of the Season award since it was introduced in the 1968-1969 season.

He previously enjoyed loan spells at Brighton & Hove and Hull City during the 2016-17 and 2017-2018 seasons.
