Official : Tottenham Hotspur Product Obika Not Offered New Deal By Oxford United
Tottenham Hotspur product Jonathan Obika has to look for a new employer in the summer transfer window.

EFL League One club Oxford United have officially announced that they will not be offering new contracts to Obika and four other senior players.

Aged 28, the striker joined Oxford United on a two-year deal in July 2017, which has not been renewed.

In 57 outings across all competitions, he scored eight goals and had seven assists to his name.

He damaged his anterior cruciate ligament in a friendly match against Swindon Town in October, which kept him on the sidelines for the remainder of the 2018-2019 campaign.

Apart from the aforementioned clubs, Obika previously wore the jerseys of Yeovil Town, Millwall, Crystal Palace,  Peterborough United, Charlton Athletic and Brighton & Hove.

A former England youth international, he departed Tottenham Hotspur in 2014 after making four appearances for their first team.
