Crystal Palace have confirmed their retained and released lists following the conclusion of the 2018-2019 season and one of the decisions taken was to part company with Nigeria-eligible winger Joseph Hungbo.
Hungbo is among the seven released players eligible for free transfers.
The 2000-born player signed his first professional contract with Crystal Palace before the start of last season, and had been tipped for a first-team debut but suffered a shoulder injury in a pre-season friendly against Kingstonian.
A former captain of Crystal Palace U18 side, Hungbo was loaned out to Margate for the second half of the 2018-2019 campaign.
He was recognized for his outstanding performances for Crystal Palace youth teams in 2016 after winning the club’s Under 9-16 Player of the Year award.
Hungbo notched up 17 goals in 29 appearances for the U18 team of the Eagles in the 2017-2018 campaign.
