Official : Flying Eagles Star Departs Manchester City After Thirteen Years
Nigeria U20 international Tom Dele-Bashiru has been released by Manchester City,  the Premier League confirmed through their official website on Friday.

The central midfielder is departing the Premier League champions thirteen years after he first joined the club.

Tom Dele-Bashiru leaves as a free agent on July 1 after failing to agree a new deal with the Citizens.

The 19-year-old made his professional debut for Manchester City after coming off the bench in a League Cup match against Leicester City in December 2017 but was not considered for first team selection again due to uncertainty surrounding his future at the club.

Tom Dele-Bashiru's sibling, Fisayo who also trained with the Nigeria U20s in Germany, Tosin Adarabioyo, Felix Nmecha, Nathanael Ogbeta, Gavin Bazunu and Oluwatimilehin Sobowale have all been retained.

Manchester City would be due a compensation fee if Tom Dele-Bashiru joins another English club in the summer because of his age.
