What Does Lookman's Trip To Lagos Mean To Nigerian Federation?

Everton winger Ademola Lookman is one of Premier League players of Nigerian descent whom NFF President Amaju Pinnick is hoping to lure to the Super Eagles.

It was suggested that the country's football governing body had a heart-to-heart discussion with the youngster in time past but couldn't convince him to dump England for Nigeria.

The 21-year-old was very frank in his decision to feature for the Three Lions of England despite numerous contacts with Nigeria's representatives.

Though the former RB Leipzig striker turned down the opportunity to feature for Super Eagles, he didn't forget the fact that he has a Nigerian blood as he was seen in Lagos last week.

According to the youngster  via his Instagram account, it was a pleasure visiting Nigeria where he was shown so much love and affection by fans and residents.

Lookman's visit to Lagos means the Nigerian Federation still have very bright chances of convincing him to join the West African side, and it should motivate them in their chase for his services.

Visiting Lagos also reveals the level of affection the player has towards Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the winger needs to settle his club future as soon as possible before thinking about his international career.
