Lobi Stars New Kid On The Block Andrew Names The Chelsea Defender He Models His Game After

Lobi Stars new kid on the block Nzekwesi Arinzechukwu Andrew was impressive at the heart of defence as the Makurdi side registered a hard fought 1-0 win against Kebbi United to progress to the round of 32 of the Federation Cup on Saturday.
The 19-year-old Sidos FC loanee has been tipped to move to Europe in the near future on the back of his outstanding performances for Stationery Stores and Lobi Stars, whom he joined in April 2019.
Andrew has picked Brazil international David Luiz as his role model and Chelsea as his favorite club in the English Premier League.
''I am a central defender, my role model is David Luiz, '' said Andrew to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''I always love to watch him play because he inspires me a lot. He is calm on the ball, strong and aggressive.
''My favorite club is Chelsea and I dream to play for Chelsea, I have been a fan of Chelsea right from when I was young and my role model David Luiz plays for the club.
''My target in the next five years is to be in a top club in Europe and to be invited to the national team, I have always dreamed of playing for Nigeria.''
When Andrew was asked about his qualities and the aspect of his game that needs improvement, he replied : "I'm a very good user of the ball and a very good marker. I win a lot of aerial balls.
''I am a good passer of the ball, both long and short passes. I think I need to improve on my interception.''
Andrew, who is owed by Sidos FC, Lagos, has also played for Patros FC, Bussdor United and Ebonyi United.
