Top Nigerian Teenagers To Keep An Eye On : Arsenal's In-form Winger Saka
Published: August 06, 2019
Arsenal's pre-season schedule is done and dusted and Unai Emery's men are back to London Colney ahead of their first competitive game against Newcastle United.
The 17-year-old winger Bukayo Saka was in exceptional form during the pre-season camping.
He distinguished himself from other academy graduates who are also vying for a place in Unai Emery's starting XI.
Bukayo Saka had a fruitful pre-season outing as he featured in all the games played by the Gunners during their stay in USA.
The young man stood his ground against highly-rated La Liga champions Barcelona despite the short time he spent on the pitch.
His beautiful in-swinging crosses into Barcelona's box were nothing but confirmation of his readiness for first-team duties.
Judging by his display against the Catalans on Sunday, allnigeriasoccer.com sees the teenager as one of Nigeria's players to watch in the 2019-20 season.
Saka's integration into the senior team didn't just began this summer, it all started at the latter stages of last season when he made his senior debut in an Europa League match against Vorskla Poltava.
Since his debut, the England U19 international has put up series of fine performances for the Gunners, while his goalscoring ability was obviously seen with the U23.
The 17-year-old winger definitely has a great future ahead of him and 2019-20 season will surely witness the rise of another Hale End Academy product.
