Tomori Makes Full Debut For Chelsea Against Sheffield United
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has handed a full debut to Canadian-born defender of Nigerian descent Fikayo Tomori.

The England U20 World Cup-winning star will partner Frenchman Kurt Zouma in central defence against Sheffield United on matchday four of the Premier League this afternoon.

Tomori previously made two appearances for Chelsea off the bench, against Leicester City on the final day of the 2015-2016 season, before featuring in the UEFA Super Cup against Liverpool.

With Antonio Rüdiger not yet in tiptop condition, Lampard preferred Tomori to Denmark star Andreas Christensen, who drops to the bench.

The Nigerian spent last season on loan at Derby County under the tutelage of Lampard and was named the club's Player of the Season.

Tammy Abraham has retained his place in the Chelsea starting line-up thanks to his brace against Norwich City last weekend.
