Liverpool Loanee Ejaria Is Championship POTM, Chelsea's Abraham In U21 TOTW

Liverpool loanee Ovie Ejaria has been named Whoscored.com's Player of the Month in the EFL Championship for August 2019.

Since his return to Reading in the summer transfer window, the central midfielder has featured in four matches, scoring two goals in games against West Brom and Huddersfield Town.

Ejaria has taken seven shots, completed thirteen dribbles, made eight interceptions, averaged a passing accuracy of 85.8 percent and Whoscored rating of 7.70.

In his first three appearances for Reading, the Madejski Stadium outfit accumulated seven points from a possible nine.

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has also been recognized by the football statistics website after he was named in the for Europe’s top five leagues, comprised of La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1.

The 21-year-old netted a brace for the second consecutive week and had four shots against Sheffield United, won three aerial duels and registered four key passes.
