Nwakali Not Joining UD Logrones On Loan, Ex-Arsenal Midfielder Still In London Awaiting Visa
Published: September 03, 2019
Kelechi Nwakali's representative, Allwell Nwakali has dismissed speculation at home and abroad which suggested that the central midfielder will be spending the first half of the 2019-2020 season on loan at UD Logroñés.
The former Arsenal starlet is still in London awaiting the outcome of his visa application to Spain before linking up with his new teammates at SD Huesca.
Nwakali has inked a three-year contract with La Liga promotion hopefuls SD Huesca, who lost their top-flight status at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
''Kelechi is not going anywhere, Kelechi will play in SD Huesca by God's grace. They are not loaning him to any third division club,'' said Allwell Nwakali to allnigeriasoccer.com.
''It is confirmed he is not going on loan contrary to what is reported in the media.
''He will travel to Spain as soon as his papers are complete. He is in London now waiting for his visa today or tomorrow.''
