Three players who have received invitations to train with the Nigeria National Teams in the past were on target for their respective clubs in the English Football League on Saturday, September 14.

In the Championship, ex-Super Eagles invitee Eberechi Eze helped Queens Park Rangers secure a 3-2 win over Luton Town at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium (London).

The number 10 opened the scoring with a cracker from 25 yards in the third minute and provided the assist for Queens Park Rangers third goal in the 28th minute.

In the third tier of England football, former Nigeria U15 invitee David Kasumu scored his first league goal as Milton Keynes Dons thrashed Blackpool 3-0 at Bloomfield Road.

The central midfielder finished first time after a reverse pass from a teammate in the 75th minute, taking his tally to two goals in four games across all competitions this season.

Still in the division, Freddie Ladapo was on target in the 28th and 53rd minute of Rotherham United's 6-1 rout of Bolton Wanderers at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

The former Crystal Palace man was invited to train with the Flying Eagles before the 2011 FIFA U20 World Cup.
