Three Nigerian U20 Players Called Up To Train With Arsenal First Team Pre-Nottingham Forest
Three Nigerian U20 players are in contention to make their debuts in the League Cup when Arsenal face Championship outfit Nottingham Forest in the third round on Tuesday evening, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Manager Unai Emery and Gunners legend Freddie Ljungberg ran the rule over Hale End Academy products Tolaji Bola, Folarin Balogun and Bukayo Saka during today's workout at London Colney.

The Spaniard is expected to rest some regular first team stars in order to keep them fresh for the big Premier League meeting with Manchester United at Old Trafford next Monday.

While Saka has already debuted for Arsenal in the Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup, he has yet to feature for the North London club in the League Cup.

Left-back Bola will fancy his own chances of being handed a run-out against Forest with Sead Kolasinac not spotted at training after going the distance against Aston Villa on Sunday and summer signing Kieran Tierney lacking match fitness.

The 20-year-old defender will wear the number 40 kit and Balogun number 38 should they make their first appearances for the Gunners first team on Tuesday.

Teenage striker Balogun is the top scorer in the Premier League 2 Division One with six goals from six appearances in the new season.
