Chelsea Receive The Best Possible News From Turkey Regarding Victor Moses
Published: September 23, 2019
Premier League side Chelsea have received the best possible news from Turkey regarding the fitness of their winger Victor Moses.
The former Nigeria international has resumed full training with Fenerbahce, where he's spending the rest of the season on loan, after recovering from a thigh muscle rupture.
According to several media outlets in Turkey, including sports daily Fanatik, Moses could return to the Fenerbahce team for the Istanbul derby against Galatasaray on Saturday, September 28.
His recovery went according to plan as he had been expected to spend five weeks on the sidelines.
Moses was unavailable for Fenerbahce's league matches against Basaksehir, Trabzonspor and Alanyaspor while last weekend's match vs Ankaragucu came too soon for him to be considered by manager Ersun Yanal.
The 28-year-old impressed in the Yellow Canaries opening match of the season, scoring and providing an assist in a 5-0 rout of Gazisehir Gaziantep FK.
Since Moses joined Chelsea in 2012, Fenerbahce are his fourth loan club following spells with Liverpool, West Ham and Stoke City.
