'Saka Is National Treasure' - Arsenal Fans, Cesc Fabregas Hail Winger After Display Vs Man Utd
Published: September 30, 2019
Manchester United welcomed Arsenal to the Theater of Dreams for their week eight Premier League fixture which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The home side took the lead in the 45th minute via Scott McTominay whose shot found the back of Bernd Leno's net.
Lively Nigerian youngster Bukayo Saka ensured that the Gunners restored parity as his lovely pass found Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who didn't waste time before putting the ball past David De Gea in the 58th minute.
Despite his impressive display, the 18-year-old was substituted with 10 minutes left to play as Joe Willock was introduced in the 80th minute.
It's obvious that Saka is fast becoming the fans favorite as they took to social media platforms to praise him for his display against the Red Devils.
Below are some of their comments on Twitter:
@cesc4official: "Saka is a player. 18 years old showing great maturity.''
@FrancoisGoyard: " Saka only good player on the field."
@ThatRexGuy: "Saka looks a better prospect than Pepe."
@JasonBanton: "Saka looks better than pepe! Not Tryna hear give him time!"
@WKayzee: "saka is my man of the match.. the boy is good. #MUNARS."
@SemperFiArsenal: "An 18 year old, Saka is our best player on the pitch today."
@Aubazettes: "Bukayo Saka who’s younger than most of the people at the Old Trafford, including fans, outperforming all our players. Generational talent."
@Tomthegunner: "Saka , coincidentally a player not coached by Emery for the longest time, looking great. Same for Chambers and Tierney.."
@Aubazettes: ''Bukayo Saka is national treasure and should be protected at all costs. What a player this kid is"
@PatrickTimmons1: "Credit to Bukayo Saka. He only turned 18 last month & this is just his second Premier League start, yet he’s the only player who looks like he’s really up for it. Some of the others could learn a thing or two."
@george_porter: "True that.. only positive is Saka is the new messi , young should have about 7 bookings".
@husmankay: "SAKA is the next Messi."
